Clouds to the top of me, rivers to the right, here I am stuck in the middle with you… One of those landscapes I think of as a Navy SEAL triple stack, this little SnapShot contains Sea, Land and Air. The Sea here happens to also be a river – this is the Ex Estuary (as in the Ex River, not ‘former’). Grand old country homes and open pockets of green, with some heavy development next to the waterside. Lines of trees demarcating boundaries perhaps a millennium or more old. And yet the land – with all its interesting features, beauty and variety, is dwarfed by both the water and the sky. Like a slice of life or a patch of green, it is the minority, the limited and the rare that often catches all of our attention.
